Lynnwood Neighborhood Hardie Siding Installation
Located in Lynnwood, Washington, this beautifully refreshed home blends modern touches with the timeless charm of a classic Pacific Northwest residence. Partnering with KV Construction, the homeowner set out to enhance both the appearance and durability of their property. The exterior renovation included the installation of HardieWrap® Weather Barrier, 8¼” Cedarmill James Hardie lap siding (7″ reveal), and rustic 5/4×4 Hardie trim around windows, doors, and corners.
To complete the transformation, the home was finished with two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint®—a primary color for the siding, fascia, and eaves, and a complementary accent color for the trim and corners—creating a striking and cohesive look built to last.
This isn’t just a replacement; it’s a rejuvenation. We’ve maintained its heritage while highlighting its timeless appeal.

Cleanly mitered sill trim corners
Exceptional siding craftsmanship is on full display with seamless trim details and precisely mitered sill corners. Finished with metal flashing, these corners offer both a polished look and added protection against moisture.
The warmth of home in every facade detail
This home’s exterior tells a cozy story—featuring Hardie lap siding and carefully crafted trim work. With 5/4×4 trim framing the corners, windows, and doors, every detail comes together to create a warm, inviting, and cohesive look.
Texture and style
The Cedarmill texture brings the natural charm of real wood to your home’s exterior—without the upkeep. Its subtle woodgrain finish adds warmth and depth, while the matching corners create a smooth, seamless look that feels both timeless and thoughtfully styled.
Outlet blocks
Outlet blocks may be small, but they make a big difference in the overall finish. Cleanly installed to match the siding, they keep outdoor outlets functional and discreet—blending in seamlessly while maintaining easy access.
Light blocks
Light blocks add that polished, finished look around exterior lights—like a picture frame for your fixtures. They’re carefully installed to sit flush with the siding, keeping moisture out and style in, while making sure your lights shine just right.
Transformation in action
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the front of the house as work is underway. Old siding is coming down, and the home is being prepped for weatherproofing and a fresh new layer of siding to bring it back to life.
